The Busch R5 series single stage rotary vane pumps are used extensively in packaging, food and house vacuum applications. Unlike other single stage pumps like Leybold Sogevac, the R5 series is actually sold in (3) variants to meet specific pressure requirements:
Like most modern single stage rotary vane pumps, the R5 is equipped with an exhaust box and demister, gas ballast and spin-on oil filter.
